Venue

The PLATO week #9 will be held at the Managment school of Marseille, E.M.D., Rue Joseph Biaggi, 13003 Marseille, France. It is located 400m (6 min walk) from the Metro station and the train/bus station Saint-Charles (see below) and 1km (15 min walk) from the Vieux port. The meeting will start at 9am on Wednesday 9th of October and will be concluded at 1:30pm on Friday 11th of October.

How to reach Marseille

By plane

The nearest airport is Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) which has direct connexions to most European cities.

To reach Marseille down town from the airport, you can take the direct shuttle to Marseille Saint-Charles (Bus 91, every up to 10 minutes - 8.30 euros one way, 13.4 euros round trip). More info can be found on the marseille airport website. Tickets can be bought at the desk in the bus station, or online. Alternatively a taxi from the airport will cost about 50 euros.

By train

How to reach the PLATO week from the Saint-Charles metro station

From the metro station Saint-Charles (both lines 1 and 2), reaching the EMD, hence the PLATO week, is fairly easy.
 
When you get out of the metro station, just go in front, towards "La Poste" and "Mc Donald's"
